JIC flared fittings
The JIC flare fitting conforms to ISO 8434-2/JIC 37° J514. It is a fitting, traditionally used in high-pressure hydraulic systems.
The seal is achieved by contact between two non-deformable metal surfaces. The connection between the connector body and the flared tube on the 37o cone is guaranteed by a clamping nut and an inside pressure sleeve. This allows for quick tube connections and disconnections, which enables more efficient assembly of complex hydraulic systems.
